Before proceeding with that objective, however, thorough exploration of this location yields several collectible items.
Inside the first house, examine the room immediately to the right of the entry point. A red lockbox sits inside a cupboard and can be opened either by shooting the lock or entering the code 214. This action yields both a note from a friend and heart medicine, marking your first collectibles. Continue through the two doors on the left side of the house to locate a western novel inside another cupboard—a second contraband item waiting to be claimed.
The bathroom lies near the bottom left of the house close to the entrance. Open the cabinet there to retrieve an MP3 player. Finally, head into the kitchen where the man's wife is located and look to the left wall beside her. A large cabinet contains the Baekseolgi-Tteok Recipe note. Notably, this kitchen location also provides the code 214 if you decide to collect items in a different order than described.
Dialogue and Defector Location
Once you have gathered the items from the first house, interact with the man's wife in the kitchen. A series of dialogue options appears, and selecting the right ones is crucial. Choose "Please join your husband" followed by "If you are loyal, you are safe." Return to the living room and approach the husband for another conversation. Select the option to ask about South Korean medicine, and he will reveal the defector's location. Completing the Full Collection
The second house encountered during Following Orders contains no collectibles, as this location serves as the extraction point where military forces remove the defector. All remaining items are located in the third house, which Ko directs you to search through a side entrance while looking for any hidden civilians.
Upon entering the third house, proceed through two doors and into the second bedroom on the right. Open the closet to find and read the Note from Neighbor. This item represents one of the final collectibles needed for complete achievement.
The Hidden Final Item
The last collectible requires more careful observation and multi-step exploration. Exit the bedroom and navigate through the two doors again, then turn right into the room featuring a window. Check the upper cabinet positioned next to the window to discover a key. This key proves essential for accessing the underground hatch located in the tile area of the living room.
Use the key on the hatch to reveal a woman hiding in the underground space. Engage her in dialogue and select "Please come outside with me," followed by "The defector was found. It's safe to come out." She will exit the hiding space, allowing you to jump down and carefully retrieve the Note from Mom from a wooden board inside the hatch. Interestingly, you do not actually need the key to interact with the woman—calling out to her while standing on the hatch lid achieves the same result.
Unlocking the Final Achievement
Once you have collected all items from both the first and third houses—the note from your friend, heart medicine, western novel, MP3 player, Baekseolgi-Tteok recipe, note from neighbor, and note from mom—the "No Stone Unturned" achievement unlocks.
