All Zero drawing locations in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Zero the ghost dog is trapped inside a portrait in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and freeing him requires locating hidden drawings scattered throughout Oogie Boogie's domain. The task forms a critical part of The Ghost in the Portrait quest, where players must find and interact with five Zero drawings hidden around the Mirror Lair. Successfully completing this objective is essential for unlocking Zero as a loyal companion and progressing toward the eventual recruitment of Oogie Boogie himself.

The challenge lies in the fact that these drawings are deliberately concealed in locations that are easy to overlook. Players receive only vague directional hints about where to search, making independent discovery frustrating without guidance. All five drawings are confined to the first floor of the Mirror Lair, so there is no need to explore the upper levels to complete this particular task.

Finding the first two drawings

The first Zero drawing sits directly behind the dancing skeletons in the main chamber. Look to the left side of Scrooge McDuck's safe and the lengthy counter that runs through the middle of the room. The second drawing is positioned near the left edge of the long black table, specifically the surface where players previously placed the Enchanted Gift Box during an earlier phase of The Ghost in the Portrait mission. Both of these locations require careful observation to spot the drawings among the surrounding décor.

Locating drawings three and four

The third drawing can be found on the rear side of a tall stack of dice. This stack sits slightly to the left of the large lava pit positioned in the center of the room. The fourth drawing rests on the ground within a window alcove situated to the left of the crafting station. These two locations represent a shift from the table and counter areas, requiring players to check both vertical surfaces and ground-level spaces.

The final drawing and completion

The fifth and final Zero drawing is tucked away in the back corner of the room, positioned to the right of the staircase on the right side of the chamber. Once all five locations have been identified, the actual collection process is straightforward. Players simply walk up to each drawing and press the interact button that appears on screen. Upon interaction, the drawing vanishes and drops Zero Essence nearby, which can then be collected.

Repeat this interaction process for all five drawings to complete the task entirely. Each successful interaction brings players one step closer to officially unlocking Zero as a playable companion within the valley. The entire process, while requiring some exploration and patience to locate each hidden drawing, represents a manageable objective that opens up new gameplay possibilities and advances the broader narrative surrounding Oogie Boogie's eventual recruitment.
